The Reenactment of the Battle of the Chicahuales is the most important cultural tradition in Jesús María and one of the most iconic folkloric performances in the state. This celebration is part of the traditional Chicahuales Fair, held every year during the month of July in honor of Saint James the Apostle, the patron saint of the community.
