Overview

The Hemicycle to the Heroes of Independence is one of the most representative civic monuments in Calvillo’s historic center. Located next to the Main Square and surrounded by some of the most emblematic buildings of this Magical Town, the monument pays tribute to the men and women who took part in Mexico’s struggle for independence, honoring the ideals of freedom, justice, and sovereignty that gave rise to the Mexican nation.
