Its main attractions include the Railway Museum, historic locomotives, gardens, art spaces, and areas for cultural, sports, and recreational events. Additionally, the complex houses restaurants, cafés, and family-friendly areas, making it a community gathering spot. Its revitalization has restored one of Aguascalientes’ most important historic districts, blending railway heritage with modern activities and tourism. Today, FICO 3C is considered a symbol of the city’s cultural and urban development.

The FICO 3C (Tres Centurias) Complex originated from the former railway facilities in Aguascalientes, built in the late 19th century when the city became one of Mexico’s most important railway hubs.
For decades, railway workshops and yards were fundamental to the region’s economic, industrial, and urban development, generating employment and fostering the growth of entire communities around these operations. Over time, as railway usage declined, much of the infrastructure fell into disuse.
In the early 21st century, the government and various institutions spearheaded a project to rescue and rehabilitate the area, giving rise to the FICO 3C Complex. The goal was to preserve the historic railway heritage and transform the site into a cultural, tourism, and recreational space. Today, the complex houses museums, green areas, performance venues, and commercial spaces, standing as a symbol of urban and cultural renewal in Aguascalientes.
The FICO 3C (Tres Centurias) Complex offers extensive visiting hours. Outdoor areas and public squares: generally accessible 24 hours a day; ideal for walking, exercising, or enjoying green spaces. Museums, exhibitions, and cultural spaces: typically open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, depending on the schedule.
